Got this "recipe" from a quilt teacher years ago when I was first starting to quilt. I have used it and it works wonderfully.
1 part water
3 parts rubbing alcohol
1 or 2 drops of Palmolive or Joy ( do not use Dawn)
Apply mixture and scrub gently with a soft toothbrush. Follow by wiping with a cloth.
