Picking fabric and pattern
In talking with my sister yesterday (my favorite one!) she mentioned that she would love to have a country quilt and I would love to do one for her. This is totally outside of what I usually do - so I asked her what colors she meant. Can you all help me get this together?
1. Her colors are barn red, gold, dark blue, dark green. Is there a fabric line I could go to? Is this like Thimbleberries?
2. What is a good "country" pattern? Something traditional. It can be moderately difficult. Not looking for quick and easy.
I would like to get this stuff together now. With what little time I have for quilting, it might then be finished next Christmas.
