Need help---- turkey pie
Hi all... hope you had a very Merry Christmas. Now I need help! I have turkey leftovers and I want to make a turkey pie like my mother used to make. Unfortunately, I never asked how she did it or paid much attention when she was making one. I think she just cut the leftovers in small pieces, put in a pie crust, salt and peppered and then sprinkled a little water over the top. Cris-crossed strips of 2nd pie crust on top, crimped the edges and baked.
Can anyone fill in the blanks? Am I missing anything? And what temp and how long to bake. Any help greatly appreciated!
