Default Fruit Cake slices

Just in case someone might be interested, here is a very easy fruit cake slice recipe I would like to share:
You need 1 kg of mixed fruit/nuts/seed mix.
I usually buy a 1 kg pack of fruit mix (contents: sultanas, glazed cherries red and green, orange peel, lime peel, etc). I only use part of the 1 kg as I add some other dried fruit chopped up, like apricots, dates, figs, prunes, etc....whatever takes your fancy!!! Then I add some seeds like sunflower, sesame, also some crushed nuts like peanuts, walnuts, any kind of other nuts you might like. But make sure the portion of the fruit mix is at least 2/3 of the kg.
I add 600 ml of fruit juice - any kind. I prepare this the night before and let it marinate over night.
Next day add 2 cups of self-raising flour, mix well, spread on a lined oven tray about 2" thick and bake until golden brown (maybe 30-40 min) on about 380 F (about 200°).
Keeps very well in the fridge for a while and is great for school lunches.
