I have decided on the theme Winter Wonderland and am thinking of making short table runners app. 24" to 30" long that I can fold in half at each place setting. My problem is the design, remember I have to make over 100 of them so I need something fairly simple to do. If you have any ideas please let me know as I have to start on these in January so they will be finished by December. Thank you in advance and Merry Christmas to everyone!!!
There is a great runner tutorial (I think I found it on here) to make table runners and they go really quickly and look awesome. You take 4 - 2 1/2" strips of different colors and sew them together in strips. Then you cut 30 degree triangles out (6 of them) and sew them opposite of each (like one one direction and one the other). It makes a six-sided table mat of fairly large size. I sold out of them when I made them for a show. You can also make them smaller with 3 - 2 1/2" strips and it changes the design pattern of the runner as well. I also used them as candle mats and wrapped my candle gifts in them! The recipients LOVED them
