Adorable pillowcases! I have a similar Princess fabric sewn up, just need to embroidery it, finish the hem and it's ready to go. This one is for 4yo DGD. My 7yo DGS is coming to spend the night tomorrow nite and we're going to make him a baseball one. I want him to pick out the fabric from my stash...have several different prints. Then I'm doing a Barbie one for my 8yo DGD. I haven't tried the tube method but I do like that extra trim and the contrasting hem. I think I have the YouTube video and instructions saved somewhere!!
Yes, it was quick and easy but DDIL thought with the restless sleep the kids have the pillow inside might not hold so we'll have to put little snap-buttons on them....or ties....we will see, try it first.
I think the next ones I will try to make one side only, the front, like this tube pattern and the take more of the main material to make a longer back part and fit it into an inside pocket. I will give this a try too.
