i would not incorporate pink if they requested no pink-
if the other fabrics are a lighter weight you could add a medium weight fusable interfacing to make them closer but often they turn out with different weights- a raggy quilt might be a good choice- with prehaps 4=patches-
or the log cabin might be ok- if you interface the lighter fabrics- use the orange in the center-not pink-
or a rail fence- or an eye spy--you could use the orange for the center bars on a rail fence- or do a log cabin with oranges on 2 sides & the camo on the other 2---there are lots of options- but a raggy may really be cute
