I agree with QuiltingKrazy very much. Get the machine your heart wants. I got the Horizon for Christmas. $2499 plus tax. Wanted the 6600 Janonme. Do have the Horizon finally out of the box today and up on table. Have yet to turn it on. Dealer and hubby talked me into the Horizon. Will see how I like it one day.

You most likely wont be happy with the Horizon if you really want the Brother. I have a Janome 6500 and love it. My sister has the horizon. If you purchase it because it seems like a really great price even though you would prefer something, you will always seem to find thinking I wish I had gotten what I really wanted. I have learned the hard way, buy what you really want not what you think is a better deal.
