Default Daughter's T-Shirt Quilt delivered.

I finally finished and took to the LAQ in Oct. Got back about 2 weeks ago. She totally offset the back wrong and it was cut off by about 12" or so. I guess I'll learn how to do my backs to where they do not have to line up so exactly with the front next time. I'm learning. This was my first quilt/t-shirt quilt that I did all by myself and was totally devistated when I saw the back. She sewed right through the signature block. So I had to figure out how to fix it for my daughter by Christmas. Again, being new to this I panicked. What I ended up doing was making a very wide binding strip to flip from the front to the back to cover up half of the signature block that i could not cut off. I was able to reprint the signature block and hand sew to top. So in the end it turned out fine. I'm just too obsessive about things being the way I want. Here are a couple of pictures. Glad my husband and son-in-law are so tall, it came out rather big. She really loved it.
