I agree with Jingle. I would have bought it on the spot. In fact I did. I went to a quilt show and bought mine. I've been using the Horizon for about 2 months. Previously had the 6500 Janome. Both great machines, but I love this one. I don't know about the brother, because I'm a Janome "girl". this is my 4th Janome...working my way up...and I have loved them all. No tension problems, simple to use.
