Default 222K crooked presser foot on feed dogs

My 222K sews like a dream, however I am a picky person and I need advice as to how to solve this problem.
When I put the presser foot down and start sewing 2 things bug me.
1. The back end of the presser foot does not align with the front of the end on the feed dogs. It is probably about 1/ 32 of an inch off in the back.
2. Thus when I am sewing the machine does not sew as straight a line without my having to guide the fabric through. I just tried a 4 1/2 inch seam without guiding with my hand. At the end of that 4 1/2 inches, the seamed veered to the left 1 3/4 inches. ( Just like driving a car when the front end is out of alignment).
3. What do I do to correct the problem? My 201 and 403 sew very straight lines, however the 222 is my first choice of piecing.
Thanks, Libby
