it seems like it would be a problem if you cut the 3/4" when you needed it to be 1 1/2" but you stated you did it the other way- maybe i'm too tired to comprehend the problem.
Because the remaining strips will now be off.
It's not just a piece of fabric, it's a panel with a picture. Each strip goes in order. When I cut that first strip too wide, the remaining strips will all be in the wrong place.
