I have one which I use on MOST bobbins, however for my embroidery and quilt machines I find it does not wind tight enough and use the built in bobbin winders on the machines. However, I would not be with out it for some of my other machines since I HATE having to unthread machines to wind bobbins. The sidewinder does not work on the bobbins that Singer makes for in machine bobbin winding I also think that it winds better from small spools of thread, and weak batteries wont do the job.
