In FL this year so winter is not as bad as up north. No, I am a newbie to quilting and I did not want to use one of my expensive (well, expensive to me) Jelly rolls - I only have the Moda Blueberry Crumb Cake and a white/cream background Moda for the crumb cake - so I'm cutting and getting practice. I'm cutting up 6 different dark blue flowers with yellow fabrics for the medium/dark jelly part; a cream tonal for light; a yellow on yellow/brown for medium. Hope it turns out okay - if not at least I'm getting practice cutting, sewing, and putting together! I just decided today to do this so just finished washing, ironing and getting ready to cut so thanks again for the post!
