I've made a couple French Braids...they are gorgeous. You would need to add some extra fabrics - small prints and/or textured solids in red, green, gold, cream. You wouldn't need much, and perhaps have enough in your stash. Be sure to let us know what you decide - and SHOW us!
P.S. If you haven't done a French Braid, don't hesitate....not really that difficult at all.
