If I'm reading the serial number right your machine was made in Elizabeth , NJ around 1917. I think this is the one they call the Red Eye. there is a group called TreadleOn that has tons of info on restoring and using old people powered machines. They have an email list, yearly get togethers, block exchanges, and so on. I went to the get together near me just a couple of months ago and took the treadle that I had bought. They helped me get it running and I found the parts it needed there. I'm doing the fall block exchange on it now. These are the blocks I've done.

As soon as I finish the lap quilt top I'm working on I plan on trying some free motion quilting on mine.
