Minky Quilt as You Go on a Longarm?
My sis-in-law was getting frustrated with the way the minky fabric creeps around when she was trying to sew the strips with "quilt as you go." Can it be loaded on a long arm and assembled that way? I would think that as long as the backing isn't stretched too much, we could do 'quilt as you go' on the frame and hopefully deal with less shifting between the layers of minky fabric. Has anyone tried this? Or is this a nutty idea? Thanks for any and all advice!
