Who got to see the Space Station tonight?
I was watching the news today and they said that the International Space Station would be flying over the mid south and to look at the sky around 6:47 and you could see it with your necked eye. So I set my alarm and set up my telescope waiting for it to fly over this evening. I could not see all of it but I could make out a lot from where the sun was hitting it and that is one big son of a gun!!! I could see the solar panels and the different modules and shadows of what looked like a possible docked spacecraft or another module waiting to be installed. I put my adapter for my 35mm camera on my telescope but after getting my camera out I realized that I did not have any film so that was a waste of time, but it would have made for some rockin' photos! But while I was outside I did get to gaze at the moon for a bit and it was gorgeous.
I just hope I can find some 35mm film tomorrow when I am out so I can get some photos of it later in the evening. They said it would be able to be seen today and tomorrow night but it will be lower in the horizon tomorrow.
