I've made quite a few bargello quilts and they are not hard, but you do have to pay strict attention and make sure you sew the strips in exactly the same order. I bought a couple of books, one easy to understand and one I still don't understand. I made a sample quilt before I started on the one you see pictured here. This was the second bargello I ever did and I designed the king size from a wall hanging pattern I found in a magazine. I recently bought the fabric to make a wave bargello for our bedroom.
