My Mom's Quilt Show
I want to share some quilts my mother has made over many years-she's 90 now! She said,"Now who are you going to show these to?" Computers are not one of her skills!
The first quilt is a "friendship quilt" that us kids sent blocks out for family and friends to embroider whatever they wanted on the block along with their names and we put it together for Dad and Mom's 40th anniversary in 1987. My sis drew the picture of the preacher who married them and was still living at the time. It was big surprise! Mom quilted it.
The last 3 are just tops and were made in the last 6 or 7 years. Mom can't see well enough to quilt them anymore. All are hand-quilted by Mom. Will take a bit of time to add all the photos.
