I need to do this too --just for posterity's sake and sanity. Ever wondered how much great grandma's wedding quilt cost her to purchase the fabrics etc? Wish mine had kept diarys. LOL I am also going to keep track of time spent creating a pattern or layout plus the hours in piecing etc. My major cost has to be in the books and magazines and patterns... I am cost cutting there by picking them up gently used at our local Friends of the Library book sales. Also trade them around alot. And do tyou know how fast you can fill a hard drive with free and prepaid downloadables? LOL
