I learned this lesson after I became a widow at age 50: TAKE CARE OF NUMBER ONE! That means not only phyically, but mentally and spiritually. I think you've discovered both and you'll be stronger for it. For many women who have spent their lives taking care of others, it's a difficult lesson to accept.
