Mother speaking to you here. some meds are not good for your kidneys or liver. there is a good reason for the change but yes, they should have told you since you are the one taking the medications. sigh. Doctors just are busy people. at least they are looking out for your health.
My hubby was in the hospital for his 2nd knee replacement and his kidneys shut down. very scary. they took him off Aleve and one medication he was on. (he takes 8 others plus lots of insulin).
anyway, if you like the Doctor just have a chat and stay put awhile.
