This is a good recipe. Heats up good also.
Chicken Pot Pie
Boil and debone one chicken, chop and put in bottom of 9” x 12” baking dish
Mix the following and pour over the chicken:
2 16 oz. cans mixed vegetables
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup chicken broth
Crust: Stir together
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup buttermilk or (1 cup milk + 2 tsp vinegar)
1 tsp baking powder
1stick butter, melted
Mix and pour over top. Bake one hour at 350 degrees.
Can be halved and put in an 8” x 8” baking dish.
When I half it, I just use 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom.
