I'd make sure the circuit breaker is off to the kitchen/stove area, unplug the stove completely and use a pair of pliers to get the rest out you can twist it out like you normally would I've had that happen to me a couple of months ago. You need to go easy on it or it will just collapse worse. If you don't feel comfortable about repairing an electric product please call a handy man I'd hate to hear you got hurt doing this.
