Mine was making a squeaking noise and I took off the bottom and cleaned all the dust, etc out. There is a "U Cam" that was full of black gunk (looked like dried oil) on the cam. When I turned the wheel, it would make the noise as it got to a certain point. Check your machine and see if that is the problem. You then should CONTACT A REPAIR PERSON and see if he can recommend the right oil and cleaning solution. Do not try to just use something around the house as you might ruin it. (Mine machine was not that expensive to lose if it didn't work) Think the cam rubbed against plastic or rubber, so you need the right solution or it will do damage to the part. Some parts use oil and some grease, for a reason!
