this swap was the reason I joined the board, and I've got to say, I'm loving what I'm seeing here. I'm a crazy busy mom of 3 kids 4 and under, so there's not a lot of project time, but I'm getting lots of inspiration and ideas. I think I'm going to make my first "traditional" quilt. the few I've made so far have been big single piece blocks (I'm an instant results type crafter
) or applique, no paper peicing, no foundation piecing, no triangles, none of what I would consider to be the basic, traditional quilting methods. so I am really looking forward to learning more on this board and maybe trying out a block swap, or boomerang swap some time in the future...like maybe 5 years when they are all in school!
