My friend is hand quilting a Hope of Hartford queen size quilt. Here is a link to the block pattern
http://delawarequilts.com/BOMs/HopeO...ord/index.html She has quilted a ¼" around the outside of all the stars but this still leaves too large of an open space between the blocks. But it is a weird shape. We tried a small version of the star in outline...but because things are offset it doesn't work. Has anyone made a quilt with this block & if so what design did you use to quilt it with please, thanks!
