Default Recent Quilts

I have a friend who has two sons she raised as a single Mom. The two boys are super intelligent, well-mannered, and fun to be around so I sorta "adopted" them, having no children of my own. This fall the younger son started college and the older son transferred from community college to Oregon State University. I decided I wanted to make each of them a quilt to let them know how special they are to me. Luke's (#2 son) favorite colors are red and black and Sam's favorite color is green so I used that as my criterion for fabric colors. I machine sewed and hand-quilted both quilts. The red and black one is named "Ten Minute Tiles" and the green one is named "Fractured Fractions." Both are kits I ordered from Keepsake.

I didn't include pictures of the back but I used coordinating fabric and included a picture of the recipient and my label. They got their quilts four days ago. The pictures shows each boy holding his quilt.
