I had my little pair of thread snips on a ribbon around my neck until one day....I bent down to pick something up off the floor and on the way up my ribbon caught on the bottom drawer pull of my treadle. 'Who knew the sewing room could be so hazardous?" Just think of how many times you bleed in that sewing room! Pokes in the thumb from the seam ripper - blood. Pricks from pins and needles - blood. Stepping on pins that are on the floor - blood. (I sew in my bare feet - don't ask!) Burns from the iron - no blood, just pain. Yup our passion of quilting can lead us in a very hazardous directions. Oh yeah, I forgot one - bleeding from the pocketbook at the fabric store!! :-)
