I love my double sided fireplace, but at my sister's B&B they are in bedrooms (decadent) She's now discovered there are privacy issues, so I made her these two panels 40" x 48" that she'll mount in racks to place in front of the gas fire when necessary. We did discuss safety issues and I lined the rear facing the fireplace with Insulbrite (?) the material for oven mitts. I worked from photos she sent. These are views out her windows.They took me one month. They're quite heavy and the framing materials and backing are wool. My private "In joke" is, the back of the Ski Slope is a Herringbone material. There is a lot of detail. I hope it shows up from these photos.
