I also usually like to know at least the size of the block... It helps when looking at a new styled quilt I have not seen before, also the name of the quilt pattern, because we all know there are thousands out there and I do not know them all. Also, whenever I ask a question on what size block, or the name of the style of pattern, it usually goes unanswered in between all the ooh's and ahh's. So having a bit of information beforehand is really helpful. Andddd, I have also at times PM'd the poster to ask a question (when my question was not answered on the post), and I would have to say that more often than not... I never receive a reply. So messaging someone does not always work - and it just makes me feel bad asking... As if i am bugging someone.
