Here is my very first paper piece square. I hope and pray that we never get another one to do this year. I used my ripper so much that it bonded to my hand. LOL.. This was the hardest thing I have ever tried. I finally just used big pieces of material and it worked fine but what a waste of material. Ok I won't post. I participated in the "House" BOM last year and at that time, I was a fairly new quilter and the Church was my first experience at paper piecing. I worked on it for hours and hours and had fabric, paper, etc, everywhere. I then learned to use the freezer paper technique and there is hardly any waste...this is my favorite method...do a google search and try it.
