I did a stack and whack years ago out of the most ugly fabric, but it had good repeats. It turned out super. Maybe you would like it better finished?

Let me just say that sharing the steps here made the process very fun. That being said...in the time I sit at the machine and stare at my design wall at the FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX triangles...well, I get overwhelmed and have considered shoving it in a box, too. I really don't like the fabric, but I like the hexes, and as the rows are coming together, I like the quilt better.
I know I want to try it again. Later. With fabric I actually like. LOL.
