Oooo, this could be me. I like purple and blue. But, wait, oh darn I'm not really North of you. But, it really does depend on how far south you are in texas and of course which direction your standing. Are you buying any of this? (sly, shy look) Yeah, didn't think so. Anymore clues. Anyone? There are several southern girls in this swap. Any clues for us?

Did you Know that the sea turtle's shell, or "carapace" is streamlined for swimming through the water. Unlike other turtles, sea turtles cannot retract their legs and head into their shells

Sea turtles are found in all warm and temperate waters throughout the world and migrate hundreds of miles between nesting and feeding grounds. Most sea turtles undergo long migrations, some as far as 1400 miles, between their feeding grounds and the beaches where they nest.

We actually really don't know that much about sea turtles. Most of what is learned is from the Hatchlings and the females that come ashore to lay their eggs. And We really don't know or have an accurate count of turtles because the males and juveniles do not come ashore. They only come ashore to lay their eggs. We take turtle nests very seriously here in Florida. Very few hatchlings survive to become adult turtles.

I think my babies are still swimming their little flippers off.
