Congrats, EmbQuilt! That's an easy-peasy way to do it...just like a regular old string block!! I do mine on paper, too, not muslin. I just may have to get that starter kit...and add a spiderweb to my ongoing projects...strings & crumbs. Good for when you don't want to think too much but you want to sew. Prettiest spiderweb quilt I've seen was black, white & red. Also saw a b&w with yellow. Gotta start collecting black & white fabs...oh, darn!!
