Wow you are nicer than I am. I just talk over them saying I am not interested and thank you for calling and just hang up. I used to listen to what they have to say but not anymore. And if the caller asks for someone specific in our home, I will ask , "May I tell him/her who is calling?" If my husband or I are not expecting a call I usually just tell them he is not interested. My husband can be rather rude to the telemarketers, so I believe I am saving them his attitude.
