alleyoop, there is a law. Report them to the FCC. Once you tell them to remove you from their list, they are required by law to do so within 31 days. It is illegal for them to call you for 5 years after that. I've also heard a lot of "Internet Tough Guys" say they can sue for $500 but I don't know anyone who has actually done it. Personally, as soon as they pause for breath, I say, "Remove this number for your list" and hang up. I don't know who they represent and I don't care. But they don't call me much so it's not really an issue for me. But if you want to fight back, you need to report them for noncompliance.
