I say do it!!! No matter how it turns out you DH will love it!!! Just use heavy duty needles and take your time - looking forward to seeing finished project!!! I have a denim quilt and love the weight of it - my two girls are fighting over it so I will just keep it and let them figure it out after I'm gone lol
