Default Hello From Virginia!

I am new to quilting and am glad I found this board. I am bound to find out tons of information and ideas about quilting. Which I really need.

I inherited approximately 2300 little tiny paper pieced hexagons from my MIL. She started making these several years ago. I have finally sorted them and am ready to start sewing them together in arrangement of 3 flowers and leaves per block. I have 72 ready to go and have plenty of hexagons left if I need them. I have looked on line and discovered that I can actually machine quilt each square and then sew the squares together as I go!!! YAYYY!! I was dreading the thought of trying to hand quilt a king size quilt. It will still be a daunting project though. LOL. Wish me Luck!
