I am so glad that it all worked out for you. This board if so full of useful information. And the good thing is you didn't have to wait until it was fixed! Sometimes this is more stressful than a piece of caught up thread. I have a Brother NX600 and a couple of utility machines. I had to call service and they walked me through everything on the phone. No service call needed. It ended up being a bobbin to one of my older machines that I had put into my Brother. Wrong bobbin, no workie. So I ordered bobbins from Brother and on the inside of all new bobbins I put a dab of nailpolish. Do not put it on the outside, it may cause it to rub inside the bobbin case. I haven't had a problem since.
