Glad to hear that it all worked out for you! I had the same problem when I was putting on my binding. And of course it was the last 10 inches. I cleaned out the thread jam, tried again. My bobbin case started jumping in my machine. I have a Janome 7700, just purchased 11 months prior. I took apart the throat plate 7 times to see if I could get it finished. and of course it was 1:00 in the morning and it had to finished the next day. I finally got it to work for the last few inches. I took it into the dealership wear I bought it. The bobbin case/ housing thing had to be adjusted. Good thing it was covered under warranty and first year free service. I was so frustrated at the time. I felt like crying too.
