You have to use another one when you're done with that bobbin? I just put the thread through the hole in the middle (or one of the holes around the rim if you are patient; I used to do that but I am not that patient anymore) and make sort of a knot; so you have a little tail hanging out to pick it up from the container. Just have to remember to untie the knot before putting it in the machine to sew
