I love this idea - but if I put it that way all the bears and dears will be standing on their heads! I'll remember that for the next one though... it's for dd she would love it!
I think I will try to make a piece of a shutter to start and put it up there and see what I think with some plain strips on the other side. I got distracted by my Quilts for quilters swap quilt though (it kind of took over when I wasn't looking ) so maybe sometime this week I'll go get a couple more pieces of fabric (who knew sashing could eat so much material ) I will post pics when I get a bit of it together
