I have had 3 Kenmore machines during my sewing life and have had no problems with any of them. The first one I got in the 60's and it was made of steel and was sooooooo heavy. I wish I had it today. My husband didn't think I wanted it anymore and took it apart and threw it away. My heart was sad.
