I would highly recommend Christmas Goose. They are located on the west side of town at 2988 S. Durango Dr. (phone # is 702-877-1158). Also Fabric Boutique, which is located near W. Charleston and Decatur (phone # is 702-878-0068); Quiltique, which is actually in Henderson at 213 N. Stephanie Dr. (Phone # 702-563-8600). Last but certainly not least is Fiddlesticks in Boulder City, which is where Hoover Dam is (Phone # 702-293-2979). All the shops have maps to all the shops too. As far as things to do, that kind of depends on what you like. There are lots of shows in the casinos - some being fairly reasonably priced & some way over priced. Hope this helps.
