I have two vintage Kenmores and love both of them. My son bought the first one for a $1 for the table and gave me the machine. I use it to put bindings and heavy quilting. The second I got from Shop good will.com and I use it for sewing in my extra bedroom I am going to get it to my daughter that wants a machine. It is basic and works great. I paid $7 for that machine. So, I guess Kenmore vintage machines are great machines. Both are from the 1980s.
