I am keeping my New Year's resolution to myself, and quilting more this year. I think I wasted a lot of time last year reading and surfing and procrastinating, and I barely got any sewing done. This year's gonna be different!
During my first Shop Hop a few weeks ago, I found this CUTEST quilt hanger (I love anything with an antique sewing machine on it!), and I thought it'd be nice to do a small Dresden Plate for it since it would fit perfectly. I machine (treadle) pieced it, and hand quilted it. I figure maybe I'll do 3 more with different colors for each season. Guess this one looks more like 'autumn', but I love the gold & navy together.
REALLY gotta get better at my bindings (I used the machine binding technique with the accent color on this one), but the only way I guess I will get better is to keep practicing.
