I did ask about the turnaround time when I interviewed the long-arm quilters. The one from 14 months ago said she would get it done within 3 months. The one from 7 months ago said I should have had it before the end of 2011.

I like your idea about not giving it to the long-arm quilter until a few weeks before they are going to start on it... Or I can just ask Cathy to do my next one!
