My mailman won't pick up outgoing mail in the box. Have had to pay late charges as he left them in the mailbox and we didn't pick up the mail until next day and found them still there. I never mail my bills and letters by putting them in my mailbox. I pay online or put them in the mailbox at the Post Office. I live in a semi rural area and the theft of mail from mailboxes is an epidemic.
